  • Term 2: What is Fantasy as a genre?

In each term, students will explore these questions through a variety of reading (short stories, articles, novels), a variety of types of writing and through talk (group discussions, presentations, reflections).

Evaluation and Assignments:

  • Each competency counts for one third of the final mark, however, please note that the TALK competency will only be evaluated for terms 2 and 3.

  • Students will be given class time to work on assignments, however due to the nature of this course, they will be expected to complete assignments at home or during lunch hour.
